The Atkinson Gallery is pleased to announce a pop-up exhibition of new student work from the Santa Barbara City College Sculpture Department. All works in the show were created as part of the school’s Spring 2022 Art Department curriculum covering introductory and advanced sculpture fabrication. In these classes students are introduced to and develop their skills working with the materials, tools and techniques of fundamental sculpture making including methods of carving, construction, casting and welding.
