The Atkinson Gallery, Santa Barbara City College Art Department's showcase for the visual arts, hosts exhibitions of contemporary art each academic year featuring international, national, regional and student artists working in a wide range of styles and media.
The Atkinson Gallery is located in the Humanities Building, Room 202 on the East Campus of Santa Barbara City College, 721 Cliff Drive, Santa Barbara, CA 93109.
The gallery is closed for the summer. Fall 2023 public gallery hours resume September 6th:

Tuesday: 11:00 am - 5:00 pm*
Wednesday: 11:00 am - 5:00 pm*
Thursday: 11:00 am - 5:00 pm*
Friday: 11:00 am - 3:00 pm*

Per Board Resolution 10, beginning January 1, 2023, there is no longer a vaccine requirement at SBCC.
Please note:Approved face masks aligned with CDC guidance are required to be worn indoors while SBCC remains in the "Medium" or "High" level (Tier 2 or 3 of the COVID-19 Mitigation Plan). This means that scarves, bandanas, gaiters, masks with vents and knitted face-coverings are not acceptable.
Masks will continue to be free and available on-campus.
Visitors will be obligated to leave the facilities for non-compliance.
