Fellino, The Greatest Chicano Revolutionary Filmmaker of All Time

Santa Barbara, CA – The Atkinson Gallery is pleased to present Fellino is the Greatest Chicano Revolutionary Filmmaker of all time. However, there’s one little problem--Fellino has never completed a film. Performed by the comedy troupe Chicano Secret Service, Fellino and his muse, La Star, are Chicanas/os that aspire to subvert cultural oppression by creating Chicana/o Films that will show the world the positive, productive life of the Chicanada en Aztlan. As Fellino declares, “Chicano Film by any means necessary!”
The pop-up exhibition at the Atkinson Gallery includes photographs and texts. The reception on Thursday, August 31 will include performances by Chicano Secret Service, Tia Lucita, Che Castro, and Dr. Saveletodo.
